Closure of Auckland’s Westgate Westbound Off-ramp SH16

The NZ Transport Agency advises drivers that the Westgate Westbound off ramp (to Hobsonville Road) on Auckland’s North Western Motorway (SH16) will be closed tonight, 17h October, for urgent repair work.

To minimise disruption to drivers, the NZTA will carry out repairs between 10pm and 5am when traffic is at its lightest.

The NZTA will have detours in place via Brigham Creek Road interchange on State Highway 18, and drivers are asked to follow the signposted routes.
