Full description:
Emergency services are attending a serious crash on SH 16 about 8km South of Helensville which happened at about 3:40 pm.
SH 16 is blocked and traffic diversions are in place at Helensville Township and Kiwitahi Road
At this stage it is understood that a single vehicle is involved, and at least one person has died at the scene.
The Police Serious Crash unit is investigating.
