CBD Rebuild Zone Tours Get Green Light

CERA is pleased to announce that three operators have successfully tendered to run commercial tourism ventures inside the CBD Rebuild Zone.

“All three operators that submitted a proposal have been granted approval to operate their business from within the cordon fences,” said CERA Chief Executive Roger Sutton.

“While the CBD Bus Tours have offered visitors an insight into the Rebuild Zone, these operators will offer a unique opportunity for a more intimate, smaller group or one-on-one tour,” he said.

“The successful tenders were received from Christchurch Bike Tours, Happy Tours Vintage and Red Bus Limited,” said Mr Sutton.

It is expected that the new tours will be up and running in the very near future.
