Trail Rider Flown To Hospital

This afternoon the Tauranga based TrustPower TECT Rescue helicopter was called out to Pongakawa where a 18 year old Hamilton man had fallen hard off his motorbike while trail riding.
He received chest and back injuries in the crash, he was stabilised at the scene by Paramedics before being flown to Tauranga hospital in a moderate condition.
