NZ Transport Agency – Auckland Motorways Overnight Closures

The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Closures start at 9pm and finish at 5am, unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed at the next available date, prior to Friday, 7 June.

NORTHERN MOTORWAY (SH1)
• Southbound lanes between Oteha Valley Road off ramp and Greville Road on ramp 4 - 6 June (subject to other closures in the area)
• Oteha Valley Road southbound on ramp 4 - 6 June
• Greville Road northbound on ramp 4 - 6 June
• Northbound lanes between Greville Road off ramp and Oteha Valley Road on ramp 4 - 6 June
• Northcote Road northbound on ramp 5 June
• Southbound lanes between Northcote Road off ramp and Onewa Road on ramp 3 - 4 June (approx 10:30p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
• Esmonde Road southbound on ramp 5 - 6 June
• Southbound lanes between Esmonde Road off ramp and Onewa Road on ramp 5 - 6 June (approx 10:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)

CENTRAL MOTORWAY JUNCTION (SH1 & SH16)
• SH16 eastbound to SH1 northbound link 5 June
• SH1 Northbound lanes between Nelson Street off ramp and Fanshawe Street on ramp 5 June (approx 11:30p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
• SH16 Port westbound to SH1 northbound link 5 June
• SH1 Wellington Street northbound on ramp 5 June (approx 10:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)

SOUTHERN MOTORWAY (SH1)
• Khyber Pass Road southbound on ramp 4 June
• Gillies Avenue southbound off ramp 4 June (approx 10:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
• Highbrook Drive northbound on ramp 6 June
• Northbound lanes between Highbrook Drive off ramp and on ramp 6 June (approx 10:30p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
• Papakura southbound on ramp and southbound off ramp closed continuously over Queens Birthday Weekend from 9:00p.m. 31 May to 6:00a.m. 3 June
• Papakura southbound on ramp 3 - 4 June
• Papakura southbound off ramp 3 - 4 June
• Southbound lanes between Bombay off ramp and Bombay on ramp 4 June
• Beaver Road northbound off ramp 4 June (approx 8:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
• Beaver Road northbound on ramp 4 June (approx 8:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
• Nikau Road southbound on ramp 5 June (approx 8:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
• Ridge Road northbound on ramp 4 June (approx 8:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)

• Great North Road westbound on ramp 5 - 6 June
• Te Atatu Road eastbound on ramp 4 June
• Royal Road eastbound on ramp 4 - 6 June
• Hobsonville Road eastbound on ramp 4 - 6 June
• Eastbound lanes between Brigham Creek Road roundabout off ramp and Lincoln Road on ramp 4 - 6 June

UPPER HARBOUR HIGHWAY (SH18)
• SH18 westbound to SH16 eastbound link 4 - 6 June

SOUTHWESTERN MOTORWAY (SH20)
• Southbound lanes between Neilson Street off ramp and Neilson Street on ramp 5 June
• Neilson Street southbound on ramp 7 June
• Hillsborough Road northbound on ramp 5 June
• Northbound lanes between Hillsborough Road off ramp and Dominion Road on ramp 5 June
• Dominion Road southbound on ramp 6 June
• Southbound lanes between Dominion Road off ramp and Hillsborough Road on ramp 6 June
