Snow affecting hill routes for buses

Due to the snow and sleet making driving conditions dangerous the following Christchurch bus services will not be operating on the hill parts of their routes.

• 17 Bryndwr / Huntsbury – will end its trips  early at the intersection of Centaurus Rd and Wilsons Rd
• 114 Barrington / Cashmere – will end its trips early and go no further than Princess Margaret Hospital

We aim to resume full service as soon as it is safe to do so.

Road conditions are reassessed regularly and services will be adjusted to suit those circumstances.

All buses will be driving to the conditions so please expect delays.

At some stops the bus may not be able to pull into the curb so will pull-up where they can do so safely.  Passengers are asked to make their way across curb-side snow to board the bus.
