Medical and Motor Vehicle Accident

Hi All,

On the 18 July, the TrustPower TECT Rescue Helicopter was tasked to TeKaha medical center to transport a 82 year old male to Whakatane hospital for a medical condiotion.

Later on that night at 12:30 am, the helicopter was tasked to Matakana Island where a 38 year old male received a head injury that required hospital treatment.

The male was the sole occupant in a motor vehicle accident on the island. St John paramedics attended both scenes in the helicopter.
