‘Generosity from wine and glass importer improves tasting experience for students at Lincoln University’

Macvine International Ltd, the exclusive importers and distributors of Spiegelau glassware have donated 400 Spiegelau tasting glasses to Lincoln University for use by students studying for their Bachelor in Viticulture and Oenology.

Michael Jemison, Managing Director of Macvine International Ltd said, “It came to our attention that the next generation of young people coming into the industry were perhaps not getting as much from their tasting experience as they could.” He continues, “As Spiegelau is widely recognised by the wine industry as one of the best ranges of glasses, we thought it would be a great opportunity to upgrade Lincoln to the purpose-designed Spiegelau tasting glass”.

Course Facilitator,  Sue Blackmore is delighted, saying, “We’ve managed to make the XL5’s last for many many years, but to have new glasses that will give students a more complete tasting experience will be just wonderful”.
