Love is in the air at Museum of Wellington City & Sea. Celebrate Valentine’s Day with our late night exclusive event, Couplets for Couples. On Friday February 14 from 5.30-7.00pm, the Museum welcomes PlayShop Performance Company, who will dazzle and delight you with couplets improvised for you and your partner personally.

Join PlayShop at the Museum of Wellington City & Sea in a never seen or done before Valentines activity in Wellington. Throughout the night stay satisfied with strawberries, bubbly and chocolate as PlayShop woo’s you both with words of wonder. Take a romantic stroll around the Museum with that someone special, while PlayShop shower both you and your partner in the romantic language of Shakespeare. All couples receive a couplet to take home. We welcome any couples into Couplets for Couples- The only criteria is love.
