Harcourt Park paddling pool opens for summer next week

Upper Hutt’s popular toddlers’ paddling pool will once again open for the summer season at Harcourt Park next Wednesday.

UPPER HUTT, Wellington NZ, 21 NOV 2014—Harcourt Park’s toddlers’ paddling pool will reopen on Wednesday 26 November. The summer season will last until 18 March 2015 but may be extended if weather permits.

Upper Hutt residents and visitors are invited to enjoy the facility’s atmosphere alongside Harcourt Park’s other great amenities, which include free electric barbecues, two adventure playgrounds, a children’s learn-to-ride cycle track, and wonderful green surrounds, walkways, and open spaces. Public Toilet and change facilities are also available at the park.

Large groups wanting to use the park’s amenities for particular functions are advised to book
one of the available areas with Upper Hutt City Council. They can do so by visiting

This pool is not staffed, so parental supervision is required for all children in the pool area. Upper Hutt City Council advises families to be sun-smart and requests that users keep the area clean and tidy for everyone to enjoy.
