Busy day for helicopter

The Greenlea Rescue Helicopter was called to three jobs today One MVA in Taupo and we transfered one female to Rotorua hospital. This was followed by a rescue of a French tourist who was hit by a rock on Mt Ngauruhoe. He was flown to Rotorua hospital with a serious hand injury. The helicopter then got diverted to a motor bike accident on SH5 near the summitt but the rider was deceased .
