Toddler run over by trailer, Parawera

The Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter was dispatched Parawera, east of Otorohanga, this afternoon, to retrieve a 1-year old boy who got in between a tow vehicle and a trailer; the lad was knocked down by the trailer, then run over.

To make matters worse, the tandem trailer had a car on it at the time. Accompanied by his father, he was flown to Waikato Hospital in critical condition.
