Tauranga Man Hit by Truck

The Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to Tauranga Hospital with an ICU retrieval team approximately 10am this morning to retrieve a 39 year old local man in critical condition after being reportedly struck by a truck as a pedestrian, on Takitimu Drive approximately 4:45am. He is now in Waikato Hospital, still critical.
