The Greenlea Rescue Helicopter was called to Kuratau at 0100 in the morning to transport a 28 year old female with moderate injuries to Rotorua hospital.

She was a involved in a quad bike accident were the quad bike rolled down a bank and into a stream.

She was one of three people on the quad, one of them being deceased and the other a male was not injured
