Overdue Hunters Located

The Palmerston North Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to the Tararua Ranges today around midday by the Police SAR after two hunters had not returned as planned. The helicopter conducted a search of the area, locating the pair at the Mangahao Flats Hut where they had stayed after one of the men was injured after slipped on the walk in. Both men were airlifted to safety.
