Westland District Council provided response to the Local Government Minister

Westland District Council received a letter from the Local Government Minister dated 20 March 2019. Chief Executive Simon Bastion says, “a response was sent to the Minister on 1 April 2019, and acknowledged by the Minister’s office. Reports that the Council did not respond to the letter before the briefing papers and letter were publicly released are incorrect.”
