"Fatal crash, Elephant Hill"

Police received a report around 12:40pm that a vehicle had been located at the bottom of a gully off Clarkesfield Road at Elephant Hill in south Canterbury.

One person, the apparent sole occupant of the vehicle, was located deceased.

The Serious Crash Unit attended and the circumstances of the crash will be investigated.
