"Fatal crash on SH1 in Wellsford "

Emergency services are at the scene of a two-vehicle crash on State Highway 1 in Wellsford.

The crash involving a car and a truck was reported at 12.42pm.

One person has died at the scene. 

Traffic is being diverted and motorists are advised to avoid the area, if possible.
