"Man arrested for escaping custody, Wellington"

A 31-year-old man wanted by Wellington Police has been arrested this afternoon.

The man allegedly escaped custody while in hospital in October.

He has been charged with escaping custody and is expected to appear in Wellington District Court on Monday.
