Police can now name the man who died following a crash on SH29, Lower Kaimai Ranges, on 4 January.

He was 46-year-old Kevin Erskine-Shaw, of Hamilton.

Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones.

Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
