Police are now in a position to release the name of the man wo was found deceased in Roy Clements Treeways, Mount Albert, on Tuesday 24 May.

He was 25-year-old Thomas Coombes, of Auckland.

Police extend their deepest condolences to his family and friends.

The homicide investigation remains ongoing.
