Police are now in a position to confirm one person has died following a crash
in Hamilton this morning.

Police were called to the intersection of Tristram and London streets at
around 8am, to a crash between a cyclist and a truck.

Sadly, the cyclist died at the scene.

The Serious Crash Unit will be examining the crash scene and several
surrounding roads remain closed.

Police would like to thank motorists for their patience and cooperation.
