Emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious two-vehicle crash on Puketaha Road, Puketaha.

Police were called about 6.10pm.

One person has reportedly been seriously injured.

The Serious Crash Unit will examine the scene, and the road is closed, with diversions in place.

Motorists should avoid the area if possible.
