Police, LandSAR teams, Coastguard, Navy and Police dive teams have completed a further full day of searching for a kayaker missing on Lake Rotorua.

Unfortunately there was no sign of the 18-year-old, who failed to return from a trip on Wednesday.

Search teams will continue tomorrow.

Police also want to speak with the occupants of any vessels that left Mokoia Island on Wednesday 10 August between 2pm and 5pm. If this is you, please contact Rotorua Police, either in person or via 105.
