Emergency services are responding to a serious crash on Number 2 Road, Te Puke reported around 3:40 am.

Four people have been transported to hospital with serious injuries.

The road is closed, and diversions are in place at the scene.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area.

Serious Crash Unit was advised.
