Police can now name the man who died in a crash on State Highway 33 on Wednesday 21st December.

He was Fabien Takerei-Walker, aged 18, from Rotorua.

Police extend their sympathies to his whānau and loved ones.

Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
