Police can now confirm the name of the person located deceased in Putorino on Wednesday 15 February 2023, following Cyclone Gabrielle.

She was 58-year-old Shona Leslie Wilson.

Police’s thoughts and condolences are with Shona’s family and friends.

Her death has been referred to the coroner.
