Police can now confirm the name of the person who died at their home in
Onekawa in circumstances related to Cyclone Gabrielle on Thursday 16 February 2023.

She was 86-year-old Helen Street.

Police’s thoughts and condolences are with Helen’s family and friends.

Her death has been referred to the coroner.
