Nominations are now open

Nominations for those wanting to take a run at Council are now open.

If you want to stand, get your nominations in before 1 August. There is an online portal where you can submit your nomination – head to the link below for more info or download the constituency nomination forms here:New Plymouth North Taranaki Stratford South Taranaki Taranaki Māori

To vote in this year’s local elections, you must be enrolled to vote.

To get enrolled, head here. 

If you voted in previous local or parliamentary elections, you should still be enrolled; but if you have moved recently, you may need to update your details. 

If you’re not sure if you’re enrolled or your details have changed, check or update your details online or call 0800 36 76 56.
