State Highway 6 is closed following a serious crash between Leslies Road and Mt Riley Road this evening.

Emergency services were alerted to the single vehicle crash at around 6pm.

Powerlines have been brought down obstructing the road.

The road will remain closed for some time and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
