Police can confirm the name of the man who died after being brought into Rotorua Hospital with critical injuries.

He was Zain Matenga Taikato-Fox, 20, from Rotorua.

Police offer our condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time.

Police are continuing to work to establish the circumstances leading to the man’s injuries.
