Police can now confirm the name of the man who died following a crash on SH1, Manakau on 22 July.

He was David John Janssens, 72, from Otaki Beach.

Police offer our condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time.

Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
