Traffic delays can be expected after a serious vehicle crash on State Highway 76/Christchurch Southern Motorway.

Emergency services are working at the crash site and the motorway is partially closed to westbound traffic after the Barrington Street onramp.

Road users should plan their journeys accordingly and allow extra time for travel.
