Free Measles Community Vaccination Clinic At Berhampore School Hall

Lower Hutt, Wellington – InformationNZ continues its effort to eliminate measles and keep communities safe by standing up another free community vaccination clinic. Following the strong turnout at last Saturday’s clinic in Wainuiomata, the next clinic will be held at:

Berhampore School Hall
Saturday, 29 November 2025
9:00am – 12:00pm

This clinic is delivered in partnership with Westbury Pharmacy, ConnexNZ, and Berhampore School, reflecting the collective commitment of local providers and community partners to protect public health.

“Every vaccination strengthens our collective shield against measles. The success in Wainuiomata shows the power of communities coming together, and we’re proud to extend this opportunity to Berhampore and nearby suburbs such as Island Bay, Newtown, Vogel Town and Brooklyn alongside our partners Westbury Pharmacy, ConnexNZ, and Berhampore School. While there are no new measles cases reported lately, we continue to offer protection through free vaccination clinics, and we especially encourage Pacific, Māori, and the wider community to come along and get vaccinated,” said Muliagatele Bella Bartley, CEO of InformationNZ.

While measles vaccination is a key focus, all other routine vaccines will also be offered at the clinic. This ensures families can catch up on immunisations in one accessible, community-based setting.

Important Travel Advisory

For those planning to travel to the Pacific Islands over Christmas, please note that some countries now require evidence of vaccination on arrival at the border. Attending this clinic is an opportunity to ensure you and your whānau are protected and have the documentation needed for safe travel.
