Road users should expect delays after a crash on State Highway 87 between Shannon and Clarks Junction in Otago.

Emergency services are at the scene of the crash, near the Rocklands Road intersection, and road users are being asked to drive with caution and to stop on demand in both directions while the response is underway.

People are asked to avoid the area or delay their travel if they can.
