One person has died following a two-vehicle crash on Tirimoana Road, Te Atatū South, this evening.

Two unoccupied parked cars were damaged during the collision.

The road remains closed, with diversions in place.

The Serious Crash Unit will examine the scene.

Police thank motorists for their patience.
