Following a reducing in all fixed rates a fortnight ago, mortgage bankers, Cairns Lockie Limited announced a further reduction in its two year fixed mortgage rate effective immediately. The new two-year fixed rate is 8.20%.

Other mortgage lending rates remain unchanged.

The new two-year rate is the lowest in the market, and lower than all of the trading banks.
