John Roadley is the former chairman of Alpine Dairy Products and a longstanding advocate of the dairy industry merger he now leads. He led the successful merger of Alpine with Southland Dairy Co-operative and that company’s subsequent merger with the New Zealand Dairy Group.

John is a director of Dairying Research Corp and the Ashburton Enterprise Agency. He and his family own and operate three farms in the Ashburton County. The two dairies milk a total of 1500 cows supported by a dry stock farm.
