There was moderate trading on the New Zealand Futures & Options Exchange today involving 3,265 futures contracts traded with a face value of NZ$1.63 billion.

The Mar-01 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled up 4 points at 9368 (6.32%). The June-01 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled up 8 points at 9399 (6.01%) and the Sept-01 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled up 7 points at 9407 (5.93%). The Dec-01 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled up 9 points at 9410 (5.90%).

The Mar-01 Three Year Government Stock Futures Contract settled up 8 points at 9426 (5.74%) and the Mar-01 Ten Year Government Stock Futures Contract settled up10 points at 9407 (5.93%).

The March-01 NZSE-10 Share Index Futures Contract settled up 2 points at 871.

The February-01 Electricity Futures Contract closed at $33.00 M/wh.
