BP drops prices again

BP has dropped the price of petrol and diesel by two cents a litre today with immediate effect.

BP Managing Director Peter Griffiths said motorists are benefiting from lower world oil prices and a stronger dollar.

“What happens next with prices will depend on what happens in the Middle East.”

Petrol prices at most BP owned service stations have dropped to $1.01.9 per litre for Unleaded 91, $1.06.9 for Premium Unleaded and 63.9 cents for diesel.

BP will lower its wholesale price (the amount it charges independently-owned BP service stations) by two cents a litre from midnight tonight.

Regions already enjoying discount pricing will not see a price change.
