New Appointment for Ernst & Young

Ernst & Young New Zealand has appointed Jim McElwain as a Director of Corporate Finance within the Entrepreneurial Services Division.

His appointment reflects the Firm’s continuing commitment to provide New Zealand businesses with thought leadership and action.

Based in Auckland, Jim will lead a team primarily focused on assisting ambitious New Zealand-based companies achieve their growth objectives through raising debt and/or equity and strategic transactions such as mergers, acquisitions and divestments.

Jim has 18 years lead advisory experience, initially with Southpac Corporation and most recently PricewaterhouseCoopers in Wellington where he was a Director, Investment Banking.
