OceanaGold Announces Settlement of Convertible Notes Issue of A$45 Million

The Convertible Note Issue announced on 8 December 2005, was today settled and the funds received by the Company.

Copies of the Offering Circular dated 20 December 2005, lodged with the Singapore Stock Exchange, and an Appendix 3B, are attached.
