ID Ltd & APN Digital Media Get Married

From January 2007 ID Ltd, now the South Island's largest online publisher, will be the South Island Sales Affiliate for APN Digital Media. ID Ltd will provide full sales representation at agency level within the South Island for all APN websites, including the NZ Herald, The Listener, UBD, Crème, Wises, NZ Women's Weekly, etc, and all provincial newspaper websites under APN ownership.

In addition to this, ID Ltd will represent its own portfolio of websites, including NZ Cricket, the Blackcaps and the various provincial cricket association sites, Basketball NZ, Softball NZ, Throng, Student Job Search, Harness Racing NZ, BERL, VCapital, Unlisted (the alternative Stock Exchange) and a number of other sites still subject to final arrangements.

Joint ventures are underway with a number of print publishers to take them online.

Under the reciprocal arrangement, APN Digital Media will represent the ID Ltd sites in the North Island.

ID Ltd is now the South Island's largest online publisher and currently sits within the Top 20 Online Publishers in NZ, with some 9 million plus page impressions (2006 AC Nielsen Net Ratings) and over 150,000 unique browsers per week.

The unique browser market reach of NZ domestic internet traffic for ID Ltd and APN Holdings combined is 28% (2006 AC Nielsen Net Ratings) with traffic of 2.5 million unique browsers and over 40 million page impressions per month. This will make ID Ltd and APN Digital the third largest online publishing group in New Zealand.

South Island agency media buyers and planners will be serviced directly by ID Ltd on a regular basis, have a direct local contact and be able to plan and book national online campaigns across a powerful line up of websites in a full variety of categories. These include Newspaper, Finance & Investment, Employment, Sport, Leisure & Lifestyle with more categories to come in 2007.
