Conference & Event Planning Made Easy at MEETINGS 2007
12 July 2007, Auckland: A new luxury lodge north of Auckland, new event centre in Hamilton and a recently opened hotel in Auckland all lead the list of new exhibitors at the MEETINGS 2007 tradeshow in Auckland.
Kourawhero Country Lodge, north of Auckland, Hamilton’s new Claudelands Event Centre and the Westin Auckland Lighter Quay are among more than 150 of New Zealand’s finest hotels, conference and meeting venues, caterers and activity and service providers that will be on display at the show.
“For anyone planning a conference, meeting or event it is made easy with a visit to the tradeshow, with all the best options from around the country under one roof,” says Jeanette Stanton, MEETINGS 2007 Project Manager, Forum Meetings Planners.
MEETINGS 2007 is New Zealand’s only annual convention and incentive (C&I) tradeshow and is held by Conventions and Incentives New Zealand (CINZ). This year it is at SKYCITY Auckland Convention Centre on Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 July.
The convention and incentive industry injects more than $1 billion dollars a year into the New Zealand economy and more than $25 million worth of business is expected to be booked over the two-day trade show.
MEETINGS 2007 will also highlight Auckland’s
exciting range of venues to both exhibitors and buyers.
“The welcome function will be held at Orams Marine and the
following night convention bureaux from around the country
will host dinners at various venues around the city.
Thursday 26th July is the final day of appointments with the
tradeshow culminating with a dinner at the Auckland Town
Hall,” Ms Stanton says.
