CA appoints account director

Wellington, New Zealand, 20 July 2007: Information technology management software company CA New Zealand has appointed Richard Hackett as account director based in Auckland.

Hackett will be responsible for a handful of major accounts. He has spent the last 12 years working for leading software vendors in the United Kingdom selling to international corporate organisations. Most recently he was global CA account director for UBS based in London.

Headed by country manager Stuart Preston, CA New Zealand has a team of 22 staff plus contractors focused on managing and securing customers’ IT systems.

CA’s customers range from Government departments such as the Ministry of Education, local bodies such as Manukau City Council, corporates such as Foodstuffs Wellington to many small and medium enterprises.

CA New Zealand works closely with channel partners including TechTonics, SolNet and DataStor, and outsourcing partners including Datacom, Datacraft, Eagle, Fujitsu and Gen-i.
