Journalist and former news presenter, Sacha McNeil will front the SUNRISE news bulletins and 3 NEWS at 12pm, a half–hour news round-up which screens Monday to Friday.

Former HYUNDAI SPORTS TONIGHT journalist Rod Cheeseman will present sports news and reporter Josh Heslop will front the weather coverage. Experienced news journalists Ali Ikram, Juliet McVeigh and Jennifer Colwill complete the reporting line-up.

Mark Jennings, 3’s Director of News and Current Affairs, says the line-up was chosen with a combination of experience and new talent in mind.

"We have chosen a team that mixes experience with freshness. Sacha and Rod are still relatively new to presenting but they have strong backgrounds in television, while Ali, Juliet and Jennifer are very experienced and talented reporters. Josh is the youngest member of the team and he’s proved himself to be a valuable addition to SUNRISE."

SUNRISE will screen on 3 from Tuesday, October 2 at 6.30am.
