Masthead Portfolios Extends the Closing Date for its Cash Offer for Abano Healthcare

14 November 2007 – Masthead Portfolios Ltd today advised that it is extending the closing date on its partial takeover offer to all shareholders in Abano Healthcare Group Ltd.

Its $5.00 a share cash offer will now be open for a further 11 days, closing on 10th December 2007.

The extension to the offer period allows shareholders more time to consider Masthead’s recently revised offer.
