Lie Back at Emirates Lounges With OSIM Massage Chairs
OSIM International Limited has confirmed a collaboration with Emirates Airline to provide massage chairs for its airport lounges around the world, having first successfully rolled them out at the Emirates Lounge in Singapore last year.
In its ongoing efforts to provide superlative customer care to its First, Business and Skywards Gold passengers, Emirates Airline will be equipping all its lounges at major airports around the world with OSIM’s world-renowned massage chairs.
Emirates offers a top-quality dedicated lounge airside at Auckland International Airport terminal, with space for more than 100 passengers, seated.
Dale Griffith, Divisional Senior Vice President, Airport Services, Emirates Airline, said: “Emirates Lounges around the world are designed to provide a luxurious sanctuary for our premium customers, and we are delighted to partner with OSIM to add another dimension to this comfort by offering complimentary massage to relax and refresh our passengers who are in transit or waiting to embark on their journeys,”
Passengers flying Emirates out of Singapore were the first to experience such pre-flight pampering in August 2006. Tucked away in a corner of the Emirates lounge is a cosy corner which OSIM has helped turn into a seat spa – a private sanctuary for passengers needing a few moments of pampering. The semi-private enclosure of the OSIM chair spa is custom built using premium finishes and furnishings which complement the luxurious and relaxing surroundings of the Emirates Lounge.
“Emirates is one of the world’s fastest growing airlines and this kind of service and attention to passengers’ needs will make a good impression on customers and allow Emirates to differentiate themselves from other airlines.” said Alan Tan, Head of Branding and Strategic Marketing.
“These lounges will expand OSIM points of contact with high-net worth individuals and complement our global network of outlets where OSIM products may be experienced.” He added.
Emirates currently has 18 dedicated lounges at major airports across the globe, with more in development. As the installation of the massage chairs rolls out over the next few months, passengers can expect to enjoy the OSIM chairs in all the Emirates lounges.
Emirates flies its wide-bodied aircraft four times daily from New Zealand to Dubai and beyond, via Australia, offering full service, meals and wine in First, Business and Economy class on all flights. Most services also have Emirates' award-winning 'ice' inflight system, providing more than 600 channels of information, communication and entertainment.
