Media Release by the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand – Response to Submission to the Justice and Electoral Select Committee by Gordon Meyer
During his submission
to the Justice and Electoral Select Committee on the Real
Estate Agents Bill on 3 April 2008, Gordon Meyer made a
number of allegations concerning REINZ. These allegations
were widely reported by the media.
REINZ denies Mr Meyer’s allegations categorically and has written to the Chair of the Select Committee, Lynne Pillay, requesting an opportunity to respond under the Standing Orders of the House of Representatives.
A copy of REINZ’s letter to the Select Committee is attached.
