Affinity ID Strengthens Management Team With New Director

New Zealand’s leading specialist in the integration of technology and marketing, Affinity Id, has strengthened its management team with the appointment of ex-AIM Proximity Finance Director, Peter Hay.

He joins the company and the Affinity board this week as Finance Director, less than a month after Affinity Id announced its new name and independence from its former parent AIM.

Peter and Affinity Id CEO Geoff Cooper and Managing Director Angela Day are old colleagues from AIM and have worked together closely over the past eight years.

Affinity Id CEO Geoff Cooper said Peter brought ‘unrivalled financial expertise’ into the agency.

He explained: “Within New Zealand, no one matches his track record at the financial helm of technology-driven marketing agencies. The specialist agency world is in his DNA and he’s passionate about what makes our business tick.

“We’re now an agency team of 51 people handling some of the biggest accounts in the country. As we build our profile in the marketplace and our independent client list, we need to ensure the continuation of rigorous financial disciplines.”
